Pissed off. Venting. Nobody fucking cares anyway
Lately a bunch of my posts have been flagged. For some reason little ol' me has come under fire recently and have had a bunch of my blog posts targeted as copyright violations. So I've taken down the links. Guess I gotta go the bullshit cryptic way of listing and sharing the music I am so passionate about. Some of my past posts will now not be downloadable. But you can still check out the list of songs that I deem as good, but that you can't hear here, but that you can find in a million other places on the Internet. For the most part we are talking about underground fucking music here. And let's be fair - it's a few bands or management teams or one stupid fucking label that is telling BLOGGER to pull my shit down. I don't know which band(s). So fuck your street teams that are scouring the Internet to pull down music for bands that SHOULD be dying to attract new fans based on the glowing praises of REAL fans like me. What the fuck ever.
This ain't going to fucking stop me. Just going to drive me to find the proper end around. Hang with me till I figure it out.
With a clenched fist reaching for brass knuckles,

Top 19 Greatest Albums of All Time
As picked by me. So much of what makes an album great to you is personal. Much of it has to do with time and place. Where you were when that album crossed your life. But for me, that is one part of it. Sometimes the album itself is more powerful than the circumstance. For example with me, Motley Crue Theatre of Pain would be the signature album for me with that band based on impact in my life. I was SOOOO into that album (5th grade by the way). The videos for Smokin in the Boys Room and Home Sweet Home were so big for me. But Shout at the Devil trumps it as a greater album. So this is all subjective. That said, this is my list.
- Faith No More – Angel Dust (1992)
- Motley Crue – Shout At The Devil (1983)
- Napalm Death – Enemy Of The Music Business (2001)
- Snapcase – Lookinglasself (1993)
- Pantera – Vulgar Display Of Power (1992)
- Sepultura – Arise (1991)
- Obituary – Cause Of Death (1990)
- Down – NOLA (1995)
- Tiger Army – Music From Regions Beyond (2007)
- Malevolent Creation – The Ten Commandments (1991)
- Tool – Undertow (1993)
- Blind Melon – Blind Melon (1992)
- Slayer – Seasons In The Abyss (1990)
- Tomahawk – Tomahawk (2001)
- Sublime – Sublime (1996)
- Metallica – Master Of Puppets (1986)
- Black Sabbath – Sabotage (1975)
- Helmet – Meantime (1992)
- Rage Against The Machine – Rage Against The Machine (1992)
Liner Notes:
I was raised on cassette tapes, not CDs. I switched over in 1990-1991. The first CD I ever bought was a used (for $5) Flotsam & Jetsam – When The Storm Comes Down (1990).
First new store-bought CD I ever bought was Metallica – Metallica (1991), which was a double buy for me, because I first bought the cassette tape the day the album was released.

Liner Notes:
- Misfits – Bullet: one of my top 3 fav Misfits songs. Danzig is awesome. The bass is awesome. You’re awesome.
- Nancy Sinatra - The City Never Sleeps At Night: love this era and style. It’s the backing horns.
- Malevolent Creation – Conflict: give it up for this Buffalo based (originally) pioneering death metal band – still slaying today.
- W.A.S.P. - Cries In The Night: get past the lame 80s imagery, the stuff you hate about Blackie Lawless and the stuff Tipper Gore and the PMRC told you was evil – this band had their shit together.
- Butcher ABC - Crime Against Humanity (Carnage Cover) – bad production but the groove laid down by the drummer in this version is so killer. Thanks to Grind and Punishment blog for turning me on to this one.
- Danzig - Cult Without A Name: yeah, you know, go ahead, rip on newer Danzig solo stuff but this is good shit right here.
- Profanation – Cut: more here
- Full Blown Chaos - Die Like You Live: from their new album. Breakdowns up the ass on this album. Jeez.
- Oathbreaker – Downfall: new face of hardcore? I’ll take it.
- Nashgul - El Vengador Toxico: see THIS is a groove. Yet fast. How it’s done.
- Snapcase – Filter: more from these upstanding young men here.

MIXTAPE: Oh, Canada!
Growing up and living in a border city like Buffalo means you hear our Canadian brethren on the radio, playing in local clubs and discussed around the water cooler. Canadians tend to stick together, so even though my city is physically near Toronto, Canadian radio likes to promote its own countrymen. So you hear all of it loud and proud.
Nothing from the legendary Rush here this time. And I certainly skipped Bryan Adams and Tom Cochrane. Here is a mix of bands from North of the Border that you might have missed.

Liner Notes:
For the most part this is what I would call alternative rock. Tons of classifications you could lump these in to. But, call it what you want, I just call it good. And for good measure I had to throw a few heavy ones in, ya know, eh?
If you like the bands – support them and buy their music.
