MIXTAPE: Bitchin’ Mixtape Vol.6

UPDATE: the following was a link to download a mixtape I put together. But for some reason little ol' me has come under fire recently and have had a bunch of my blog posts targeted as copyright violations. So I've taken down the link. So check out the list of songs that I deem as good, but that you can't hear here, but that you can find in a million other places on the Internet. For the most part we are talking about underground fucking music here. And let's be fair - it's one band or one management team or one stupid fucking label that telling BLOGGER to pull my shit down. I don't know which band. So fuck your street teams that are scouring the Internet to pull down music for bands that SHOULD be dying to attract new fans based on the glowing praises of REAL fans like me. What the fuck ever.  Here you go, you asked for it. Actually you didn’t, but here it is anyway. It’s Bitchin’. Enjoy.

Liner Notes:
  • Misfits – Bullet: one of my top 3 fav Misfits songs. Danzig is awesome. The bass is awesome. You’re awesome.
  • Nancy Sinatra - The City Never Sleeps At Night: love this era and style. It’s the backing horns.
  • Malevolent Creation – Conflict: give it up for this Buffalo based (originally) pioneering death metal band – still slaying today.
  • W.A.S.P. - Cries In The Night: get past the lame 80s imagery, the stuff you hate about Blackie Lawless and the stuff Tipper Gore and the PMRC told you was evil – this band had their shit together.
  • Butcher ABC - Crime Against Humanity (Carnage Cover) – bad production but the groove laid down by the drummer in this version is so killer. Thanks to Grind and Punishment blog for turning me on to this one.
  • Danzig - Cult Without A Name: yeah, you know, go ahead, rip on newer Danzig solo stuff but this is good shit right here.
  • Profanation – Cut: more here
  • Full Blown Chaos - Die Like You Live: from their new album. Breakdowns up the ass on this album. Jeez.
  • Oathbreaker – Downfall: new face of hardcore? I’ll take it.
  • Nashgul - El Vengador Toxico: see THIS is a groove. Yet fast. How it’s done.
  • Snapcase – Filter: more from these upstanding young men here.

If you like the bands – support them and buy their music.

  2. what a shame - this looks great. glad to see the nancy sinatra on there. the 'metal and only metal' brigade are missing out - i could be ruder, but won't. i'll save that for the fuckwits who made blogger take this down - you're doing them a favour by spreading the good word.
please don't stop, keep up the good work!
