Liner Notes:
- Minist – Senor: crazy heavy beginning with a great groove. About as straight ahead metal as it gets for this band.
- Snapcase: one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands.
- Malev – Slghterhse: From their latest. Death metal pioneers been at is since early 90s
- Beach – John B: my friend J played this on his mix at a weekend gathering. At first I was like, “whatever” – but this song quickly grew on me. One of my favs by these Bums
- Slugfest: more Buffalo, NY heroes. Heavy hardcore with the snappiest drums you’ll find.
- Bad R – Believe: more newish music of pioneer bands. Killer.
- MisIndx: It all ties together. I saw this band open for Malevolent and I was blown away, particularly by the drummer. This song is so damn catchy.
- TA – SpringF: I already gave this band some major love and I would say for me, this song is top 5 of theirs.
- MLIW - Stagger: The voice, the slow melody, the story. This song has it all. Another one introduced by J – and is since on every one of my party mixes.
- Rapper guy who likes weed: This song is so awesome. Add it to every one of your party mixes – whether the audience likes metal, rap or Barry Manilow.
- Studeny: Riff o rama. Nuff said.
- Rhino: Buffalo hardcore. Great, great voice. Chugga-chugga heavy.
- Vict – End: one of my all time favorites. That’s why it was in my one year best of.
- Zombie – 65: forgot about this song? Well wake up and put it back on. So punchy.
- Campfire Killers: Can’t tell you much about this band (other than they call themselves the Dukes of Scandinavian Hillbilly Trash). I found it on either Chunklet and/or Metal/Monkey Bastard about 5 years ago and EVERYBODY I play this song for digs it. It’s heavy AND cowboy. Try to do that. Ahh, fuck it. Just enjoy it.
- Alexander: not heavy. Just awesome.
